Dear Colleagues,

The 2015 SUNA Annual Symposium Planning Committee welcomes you to the wonderful southern city of Nashville. Known as Music City USA, The Athens of the South, Powder City, and at one time we were called the Wall Street of the South, why can’t Nashville also be known for hosting a great conference?

It is a pleasure to offer new pre-conference workshops on pelvic floor anatomy, pharmacology, and a hands-on clinical skills workshop, and two full days of excellent general and concurrent sessions that will grab your attention as well as educate you on pelvic floor dysfunction. Whether one is new to the specialty or an experienced subspecialty provider, this program is designed to offer a full array of interesting topics on the newest technologies to treat urinary and fecal incontinence, sexual dysfunction, prolapse, and pelvic pain just to name a few. And of course, we will not shy away from the controversies enveloping healthcare, be it patient care issues or scope of practice concerns.

We are excited to have a robust offering of oral research presentations and posters from many of our esteemed colleagues. Please take time perusing the posters and discussing the interesting questions and answers gleaned from your colleagues’ work. As always, the Symposium offers the opportunity to network with our colleagues. Our Special Interest Group Sessions serve as a great venue to answer practice questions as well as network with colleagues. Please visit with our exhibitors where you can learn more about many of the new products and pharmaceuticals available.

And, of course, do enjoy this beautiful city! Take time to walk along the Cumberland River where the General Jackson Showboat (an authentic paddlewheel boat) can be seen, stroll through Printer’s Alley or visit the Ryman Auditorium, the original Grand Ole Opry. Visit the beautiful Centennial Park and tour the life size replica of the Parthenon and view some of the art on display in the gallery. If you love sports, you might time it right and the Nashville Predators will be in town playing some hockey!

We have a great conference ahead of us, so take advantage of everything SUNA has to offer. Have a wonderful time in Nashville, and, on behalf of all of the Planning Committee members, we thank you for joining us for the 2015 Symposium.
